Al-Istiqlal Hospital, the implementing partner of the King Salman Center for Humanitarian Aid and Relief, witnessed the launch of the second phase of the cochlear implant initiative for children in the capital, Amman, with a generous grant from the King Salman Center for Humanitarian Aid and Relief.
This extended phase builds on Al-Istiqlal Hospital's experience in providing advanced medical care. It boasts modern laboratories and highly qualified medical and nursing staff, capable of handling complex cases. This provided excellent treatment, ensuring the success of this distinguished initiative, which adheres to the highest standards of safety and quality.
This mission witnessed the completion of 80 cochlear implant surgeries, performed by a volunteer medical team from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, supported by highly skilled nursing and user staff, using the latest global devices and technologies at Al-Istiqlal Hospital.
Dr. Aqeel bin Jumaan Al-Ghamdi, Assistant Supervisor General of the King Salman Center for Humanitarian Aid and Relief, confirmed that this sixth humanitarian initiative for children is coming to combat intelligence and enable them to clearly understand their social environment, including affirming the center's mission to support those in need around the world and strengthening cooperation with Al-Istiqlal Hospital to ensure the success of such projects.
