Under the patronage of HRH Princess Ghida Talal, Istiklal Hospital participated in the 8th International Conference of the Jordanian Psychiatric Association and the Mental Health Support Conference in Gaza, which was held on Thursday and Friday, April 9–10, with the participation of a distinguished group of doctors, experts, and specialists in the field of mental health from within Jordan and abroad.
This participation comes as part of the hospital’s commitment to supporting scientific and medical efforts aimed at developing mental health services and keeping pace with the latest global practices in this field.
Istiklal Hospital is the first private hospital to have a “Motma’ena” department for mental health and addiction treatment, providing comprehensive therapeutic and rehabilitation services according to the highest standards, under the supervision of a group of senior doctors and consultants.
In this context, the hospital’s CEO, Ahmad Al-Ahmad, confirmed that this participation aligns with the hospital’s vision to strengthen its presence in scientific and medical forums and exchange expertise with specialists, contributing to the development of the level of services provided, especially in the field of mental health, which is gaining increasing attention at both the local and international levels.
He pointed out that Istiklal Hospital continues its efforts to provide high-quality and advanced services that meet patients’ needs, contribute to improving quality of life, and enhance mental health in the community.
